Your voice was the soundtrack of my Summer

I would wanna start off by saying Thanks to Mr Soon Beng Teik (: For driving me and hitch hiking my friend down to Sunway Pyramid when he's supposed to be in bed sleeping. Thank you,thank you. And Thanks to Ms Choo for lecturing me when I gave up looking for passes a week before the concert. [Yeah, she got the pass for me ;)] And My Goodness, thank heavens she was with me during the concert. Y'guys, Hui Mi might spend 80% of her time in school sleeping and she talks the LEAST in the group. But she had the energy of a 5 year old on Pixie Stix during the concert.

Saturday
[15 August '09]

So I woke up at 7AM [Don't ask why], tossed and turned till I finally decided to hop outta bed and went online till 8ish. Took a shower then watched TV. Had to wait 2 hours for Hui Mi to get her ass to place and Edmund to wake up and shower. That 2 hours were the LONGEST 2 hours of my 16 years of life. Sigh. Left the house at 11. *grumbles* =D We got there at about 11 ish. Had Popeyes' Mashed Potatoes for Brunch! :D Best. Breakfast. Ever!

And then the queueing started. At 12ish. Sigh. Hui Mi, Hui Mi. We had to sit and stone under the scorching Sun for three and a half hours. N O T H I N G happened during that three and a half hours but waiting, waiting and more waiting. When 3.30PM came, hell broke loose. Sweaty and Hairy people starts squishing,pushing and sandwiching you just to get through the gates.

I had to pick Marion up [Yeah, she was late] from Gloria Jeans and made our way through them sweaty people all the way to the front where Hui Mi,Ian,Chong Lim,Mendy,Sharmaine and Aeren were. It was NOT easy. Ugh. So Marion and I moshed and 'slipped' our way through the front. But by then Hui Mi and the gang had already gone inside.

Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures from my side. Basically cause it's stated in the pass that NO cameras were allowed into the premises. When I got there, there were few people camwhoring. We realized there was a banner that contained a few rules. And one of them was NO PROFESSIONAL cameras allowed. Whaddafug? Whatever. Hui Mi, Marion and myself went Absolutely crazy when Boys Like Girls was up to perform. We were screaming. We were jumping. We were singing. We were yelling "I LOVE YOU" over and over again. We were sweating. Ew. We were rocking our hearts out like no body's business for Hoobastank. It was Teh Awesome weyh! And when AAR was up, Hui Mi and I almost died! We were screaming to the top of our lungs and jumping till we couldn't feel our legs.

Sigh.

Just a quick post. Don't go kacau Hui Mi for tickets la,people. You have no idea how pissed she is right now. She doesn't even have the time to look forward and get excited about the concert this Saturday. Cause she's spent all her time answering to you baboons who keep asking her for passes. You wouldn't believe the lecture she gave me about giving up so easily. If you guys want the passes so badly, at least help her.

That man right there, was the person who drove me to my FIRST concert back in '04. Despite the storm and the horrible,horrible flood on the way to the Equestrian & Country Resort, he drove me there without complaining. So nice,kan? And now, he will be driving me to another concert! Let's hope it doesn't rain this time. ;D

Well most of you already know, that the eldest Soon sibling has already tied the knot [lawfully] with his long time girlfriend,Swee Fong. Though the ceremony would be on this October. [Sigh. I'm coming soon Thailand] And he isn't exactly Channing Tatum.

And I think I understand that it's kinda difficult for him to watch his diet. He's one those people who eat a lot when he's stressed out bout things. I don't blame him. And there WERE a few times where he tried with all his might, to go on a strict diet. That turned out.. uhm.. The results weren't as good as Channing's 6 pecs up there. But I don't think I want him looking as Fluffy as Gabriel Iglesias on his wedding day! His wife either!


And he hasn't been going to the gym regularly. But whatever! We still love you,MervinSoon! Fluffy or not! (: Oooh! Maybe you should enroll in The Biggest Loser Asia! OhMyGosh! Yeah!


Respect for these people weyh. Admiting their weight issues on TV. Lol I don't think my brother could ever do that. He's shy. [Everybody go 'awww'] You know what you need,ko? You need help. I know. I know. I was suppose to open a new website and all. But I didn't ! Simply because my excitement for it had died 5 days before the opening date. Why? Maybe it's because the layout looked like vomit. My graphic designer [Wenzes] couldn't create a layout for me [or even sketch out a draft for me] cause I was being too flexible. I had no idea what I want for my background. I kept leaving her with the decisions. And I couldn't stand being blog-less for so long. Urgh ! So I'm back to Blogspot. Sigh.


On the brighter note, it's August ! Yes people. The World Stage Concert@Sunway Lagoon on the 15th of August. Awesome bands from British indie rock band Kasabian to pop-rock band The All American Rejects to our very own award winning act Estranged.


There are only a couple of reasons why I'm so eager to attend this concert.

1. I just love the concert atmosphere. The company, the music, the people performing just arouses me.
2. I love the All American Rejects. Hehehe.

Now all I've to do is get them tickets. Sigh.
